Okay so it has been some time and people keep asking me what the hell is going on with the new KRONiS record.

So here you go.

Tonight we are rehearsing with the FULL WEST COAST (LOS ANGELES) BAND and working on 4 new tracks and going over some of the material from the Canadian release.

You can expect some surprises in the new KRONiS live show including some old favorites and lots of new material with great guitar solos from a talented new lineup of stellar musicians.

This is Aaron’s first time playing with Randy Cooke, who is very experienced and can bring a solid backbone to the latest version of KRONiS.

We also introduce J.Michael on Guitar who has been working with Aaron on learning his back catalog since meeting via facebook’s Guitar Shredder’s Unite group which Aaron is an officer of.

Aaron and I[J. Michael] have been working on new material for the upcoming U.S. release. We have also been in the process of recording and should be due for some videos to be uploaded onto youtube. Everything is looking really good in ‘08 for KRONiS despite the Presidential election.

We are very excited and looking forward for what is to come in ‘08. Everything is going well and we can’t wait to start playing shows!

for now, let’s explain our methods of TUNING

Our last recordings have always been Tuned down 1/2 step Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb, Eb

However to make it just that extra little bit heavier, we’ve decided to move everything down another 1/2 step.

The new tuning is, LOW to HIGH - D, G, C, F, A, D

- One Full Step down and when we use 7-strings the tuning is A, D, G, C, F, A, D.

well here’s the update. I didn’t end up making it to NAMM, had 2 rehearsals with Unraveled this weekend and will be watching Randy play on dave letterman tonight with the other ’still performing beatle’ - Ringo!
